Chiropractic Adjusting/Manipulation

Prior to the adjustment we allow your new patient paperwork to be completed in two ways, at home or in the office. We can email you a direct link to our software so you can fill out paperwork before you even leave your home. If you prefer to complete your paperwork in the office, we have tablets available for electronic completion. If you would like assistance with the tablet or paperwork, we would be glad to help you. An evaluation will then be done to determine a diagnosis and what we can do to help you.

Included with the adjustment is 10 minutes of muscle work. We use a percussion machine with a specific wavelength vibration designed to relax the muscles. We also will work the muscles by hand, targeting those areas that need the most work.

A chiropractic adjustment assists the movement of the spine correcting and preventing misalignments and nerve impingement. It resets the position of the spine and takes the pressure off your back or neck. The adjustment commonly includes the neck, upper or mid back and low back. We also can adjust your hips, knees, ankles, toes, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers and even your ears.

Manual adjusting is the doctors preference, but we also adjust by instrument. We use an adjuster tool that uses pulse instrument adjusting technology to accurately and precisely move the specific joint it is directed to. This tool is useful for those hesitant with manipulation by hand, for youth or the elderly, for smaller joints of the body and to get joints in the back to start moving.
